Once again the Jobs Bill is blocked

Once again the jobs bill act that President Obama has been pushing to get passed has been blocked for a second time.

Thursday night President Obama issued a public announcement stating “Those Americans deserve an explanation as to why they don’t deserve those jobs – and every American deserves an explanation as to why Republicans refuse to step up to the plate and do what’s necessary to create jobs and grow the economy right now.”

In a divided senate that saw Republicans joined with Democrats to block the jobs bill, it’s clear that Obama’s fight for the $35 billion jobs act is not over.  Not one Republican chose to pass the bill Thursday night,  simply put by the President “Thats unnaceptable.”

Along with the jobs act proposed by the President, Republcan Senate leader Mitch McConnel’s American Jobs Act to eliminate the withholding of 3% of money paid to the government contractors was also blocked.  Demonstrating once again the blind discern of Republicans in the Senate have to get our economy back on track.

The fight continues to go on and President Obama will continue to push forward with his campaign to help put Americans back to work as he heads to the West Coast.
